Product Description

This original World War II British Army kit bag is a remarkable piece of military history, marked with the name "Fraser 1" and associated with the Royal West Kent Regiment. Crafted from heavy-duty canvas, the bag features its original stenciling, showcasing the soldier's name and regiment details. A unique aspect of this piece is the reference to the SS Empire Orwell, a transport ship used during and after the war, hinting at its owner's service overseas or involvement in post-war troop movements. The bag is well-preserved for its age, showing signs of authentic use with period-correct wear and patina. It serves as a tangible link to the personal experiences of British servicemen and offers collectors, historians, and enthusiasts a genuine artifact from the Second World War. Whether for display or research, this kit bag tells a silent yet powerful story of service, identity, and the global scale of wartime operations
