Collection: Single British Victory Medal

The Victory Medal is a military decoration that was awarded to members of the Allied forces who served in World War I. 

The Victory Medal was awarded to all military personnel who served in a theater of operation between April 6, 1917, and November 11, 1918, and was also awarded to those who served in Russia between November 12, 1918, and August 5, 1919.

The medal was designed by James Earle Fraser and features the winged figure of Victory on the obverse, with the inscription "The Great War for Civilization" on the reverse.
