British Army 1945 Far East Pattern Mirrors

This mirror was part of a range of kit issued for the invasion of Japan and The Far East The mirror is made of stainless steel, polished to make it very reflective, with two holes fitted through it. These allow the mirror to be hung up for shaving in everyday use and allow it to be used as a heliograph 

The mirror is protected by a green cotton bag:
