British S6 Respirator

The British S6 Respirator is a gas mask that was used by the British military from the late 1960s until it was eventually phased out in the 2000s. It was designed to provide protection for soldiers against various chemical and biological agents that may be used in warfare.

The S6 Respirator consisted of a facepiece that covered the nose and mouth, along with a filter canister that was attached to the side of the mask. The filter canister contained activated charcoal, which helped to filter out harmful gases and particulates from the air.
