Product Description

This original World War II Canadian Army black hair comb is a genuine artifact from the 1940s, reflecting the standard-issue personal grooming tools used by Canadian soldiers during the war. Made from durable black Bakelite or hard rubber, the comb features fine and wide teeth, designed for both neat styling and practical maintenance in the field. Compact and lightweight, it easily fit into a soldier’s kit bag or uniform pocket. These combs were essential items, promoting hygiene and discipline—key components of military life. Markings such as the broad arrow stamp or “C” for Canada may be present, indicating official military issuance. A rare and authentic piece of WWII memorabilia, this comb not only served a functional purpose but now stands as a tangible reminder of the daily routines and personal experiences of Canadian servicemen during the global conflict. Ideal for collectors, historians, or reenactors seeking genuine period accessories.
