Product Description

This rare Italian 6.5×52mm Carcano Tiro Ridotto cartridge, dated 1941, is an exceptional piece of military history. Designed during World War II for reduced-power training purposes, the Tiro Ridotto (meaning "reduced load") cartridge allowed Italian soldiers to practice marksmanship using less powerful ammunition, reducing recoil and wear on firearms.

This specific cartridge is an INERT example, completely deactivated for safe handling and display. It features an authentic brass casing with clear, legible headstamps that confirm its 1941 manufacture date. The projectile remains intact, showcasing the unique characteristics of the Tiro Ridotto round, which includes a lighter load and specialized design.

The 6.5×52mm Carcano cartridge was originally developed in the late 19th century and became the standard ammunition for Italian military rifles, including the renowned Carcano Model 91. The Tiro Ridotto variant is a rare find, particularly one with historical markings from the World War II era, making this piece highly desirable for collectors, historians, and militaria enthusiasts.

With its aged patina and historical authenticity, this cartridge is perfect for display in a collection of vintage ammunition or World War II artifacts. It serves as a tangible link to the Italian military history of the early 20th century and provides insight into the training and preparation efforts of the time.

Note: This cartridge is completely inert, containing no powder or primer, and is sold strictly as a historical artifact. It cannot be used in any firearm and is intended solely for educational or display purposes.
