When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Product Description
An excellent early example of the British .303 inch Mark II service cartridge, manufactured by Greenwood & Batley Ltd. of Leeds during the early development of Britain's .303 military ammunition.
The headstamp is marked:
GB – C – II
with GB identifying Greenwood & Batley, one of Britain's major historic ammunition manufacturers, and II identifying the early Mark II pattern.
Greenwood & Batley are documented as manufacturers of .303 Cordite Mk II ammunition as well as the later Mk IV, Mk V, Mk VI and Mk VII cartridges.
The cartridge retains the distinctive long round-nosed projectile characteristic of the early .303 service rounds, considerably predating the pointed Mk VII projectile introduced immediately before the First World War.
This is an especially attractive cartridge for illustrating the development of British military ammunition from the Victorian-era .303 rounds through to the familiar WWI and WWII Mk VII.
