Product Description
An outstanding and highly collectible WW2 British .55 Boys Anti-Tank ammunition set, comprising 2 original stripper clips each loaded with 5 inert rounds (10 rounds total), complete with an original 1942 dated cloth carry case.
The rounds feature K42 headstamps, confirming wartime 1942 production, and are presented exactly as issued for use with the Boys Anti-Tank Rifle, one of Britain’s primary anti-armour weapons during the early Second World War.
This set is particularly desirable as it remains paired with its original cloth carry case, a feature rarely found intact. The case adds significant historical context and display value, elevating the set well above standard loose or clipped rounds. Items like this would have been carried and issued as part of operational kit, making it a genuine piece of frontline equipment history.
The rounds themselves are in excellent condition, with clear markings and consistent patina. The armour-piercing cores have been removed, and all rounds are fully inert, making them safe and legal for display purposes.
A superb and visually striking set, ideal for collectors of WW2 British militaria, anti-tank weaponry, or rare ammunition displays.
