When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Product Description
This original 37mm Pom-Pom dummy round is a genuine example of early military training ammunition used with the Maxim-Nordenfelt “Pom-Pom” gun during the Boer War and First World War period. Clearly marked “DUMMY” on the base, this round was manufactured specifically for instructional and loading practice purposes, distinguishing it from standard service ammunition.
Dummy rounds such as this were issued to allow safe handling, weapon training, and drill exercises without the risks associated with live or explosive rounds. As a result, they were produced in far smaller quantities than operational ammunition, and surviving examples are significantly less common on the collector market today.
The round retains its characteristic form, with steel projectile body and copper driving bands, along with a matching case. Its size and profile give it excellent display presence, making it a standout piece in any militaria or ammunition collection.
This example is completely inert and safe, with no active components. A scarce and highly collectable piece of early quick-firing artillery history, particularly desirable due to its clearly stamped “DUMMY” designation.
