Product Description
This is an original inert 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge dating to 1936, featuring the headstamp “P635 S 1936.” This round was manufactured by Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbrietzen GmbH, a known German producer of military ammunition during the early pre-war and WWII period. The 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge was the standard rifle and machine gun round used by German forces throughout the Second World War, issued for weapons such as the Karabiner 98k rifle and MG34 and MG42 machine guns.
This example remains in good original condition, with clear headstamp markings and an attractive aged brass patina consistent with its age. It represents an authentic and increasingly collectible example of early German wartime ammunition production.
For safety and legal compliance, this round is completely inert. As purchased within the EU, a small hole has been drilled into the casing to clearly indicate its inert status. Ideal for collectors, displays, or historical study.
