Product Description
This Original WWII German Luftwaffe Type 25 Bomb Fuze Transit Case is a rare and authentic wartime artifact, manufactured in 1941 and marked with the “AMH” code, identifying the producer as Mauser-Werke (formerly Mauser & Co. GmbH). Crafted from Bakelite, an early plastic known for its strength, heat resistance, and insulating qualities, this case exemplifies the advanced material technology used by the German military during the Second World War.
Specifically designed to store and transport the Type 25 aerial bomb fuze, the case features precision-molded internal compartments that securely held each component in place. The rugged Bakelite construction and tight-sealing lid protected the sensitive fuzes from damage, moisture, and environmental exposure during field transport and storage by Luftwaffe ordnance crews.
This example remains in very good condition for its age, showing clear manufacturer markings including the “AMH 1941” stamp on the exterior. The case reflects the meticulous engineering and logistical organization of the German war effort, particularly within the Luftwaffe's munitions supply chain.
Such items are increasingly difficult to find, especially in complete, undamaged condition with legible markings. A desirable addition to any WWII militaria collection, this case is ideal for ordnance collectors, historians, or museum displays focused on German aerial warfare and bomb technology.
An exceptional piece of original WWII German Luftwaffe equipment, this transit case offers a direct connection to the era’s military craftsmanship and operational history
