Product Description

This Original WWII British Army Foot Powder tin, containing 1 ¾ oz of the original contents, is a rare and authentic piece of British military issue from the Second World War. Issued to soldiers to combat foot infections, blisters, and trench foot, foot powder was an essential item in every soldier’s personal hygiene kit—especially in the harsh, wet, and unsanitary conditions of active service.

The tin retains its original wartime labeling, including instructions for use and the manufacturer’s details, often printed in clear, no-nonsense military font. The contents remain sealed or largely intact, making this an exceptional example of preserved WWII consumable gear. The metal tin is generally well-preserved, with minor age-related wear, adding to its authentic wartime character.

Issued widely across theaters—from North Africa to Europe and the Far East—these tins were a frontline necessity, contributing to soldier health and combat readiness. Due to their utilitarian nature and disposable intent, few have survived in this condition with original contents intact.

A fantastic addition for WWII collectors, military medical displays, or reenactment kits, this foot powder tin offers a glimpse into the daily struggles and personal care routines of the British soldier during World War II
