Product Description
This is an original WW2-era Super .220 Swift round, professionally rendered completely inert for safe collecting and display purposes. The cartridge retains its original full metal jacketed projectile and brass casing, featuring the correct wartime Super headstamp. It has been expertly deactivated, with the primer replaced by an inert one and all propellant removed. The .220 Swift was known for its high velocity and flat trajectory, originally developed in the 1930s and occasionally used for experimental or training purposes during the Second World War. While not a standard-issue combat calibre, these rounds are now rare and highly desirable among collectors of British and Commonwealth ammunition. This example is perfect for display in a WW2 ammunition collection, re-enactment kit, or educational use. Inert and 100% legal to own within the UK. A great addition for anyone with an interest in wartime ballistics or historical ammunition design.
