Product Description

The 1937 Pattern Small Pack was a standard item of British Army webbing introduced before the Second World War and widely used throughout the conflict by British and Commonwealth forces. Designed to be worn at the rear of the soldier’s webbing, the small pack provided essential storage for rations, spare clothing, and personal kit while maintaining balance and mobility in the field.

Constructed from heavy-duty cotton webbing in the correct khaki shade, the pack features a flap closure secured by web straps and brass fittings, with rear attachment points for integration with the full 1937 Pattern webbing set. Its robust construction reflects wartime requirements for durability in varied combat environments, from Europe to North Africa and the Far East.

This original example shows period-correct materials and construction, making it an excellent addition to any WW2 British militaria collection. Ideal for collectors, displays, or reenactment use.
