An original Western Cartridge Company (WRA) 9mm Browning Short (.380 ACP) inert cartridge, featuring the classic W.R.A. 9MM commercial headstamp.
The 9mm Browning Short, also known as .380 ACP (9×17mm), was designed by John Moses Browning in 1908 and became one of the world's most successful self-loading pistol cartridges. It was widely used in commercial and military pistols throughout Europe and North America, including the Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless, Walther PP and PPK, Browning Model 1910, and numerous other automatic pistols.
Manufactured by the Western Cartridge Company, this example represents a quality commercial loading produced during the mid-20th century. It retains its original brass case and copper-jacketed round-nose bullet and has been rendered completely inert, making it ideal for display or collection.
