When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Product Description
An original U.S. Army M-1910 Pick Mattock Handle Carrier, manufactured from heavy olive drab canvas for carrying the handle of the standard two-piece infantry pick mattock.
The M-1910 pick mattock was standard engineer and infantry field equipment throughout the Second World War. Designed to be carried in two sections, the wooden handle was fitted into this long canvas carrier, while the mattock head was carried separately in its own dedicated canvas cover. The complete set attached to the soldier's belt or field pack using the integral wire hanger.
These carriers saw widespread service with U.S. Army engineer units and infantry formations for digging weapon pits, clearing obstacles, constructing field defences and general engineering tasks.
This example retains its original "US" stencil, web retaining strap, wire hanger and cotton construction, showing honest service wear consistent with wartime use.
An increasingly difficult item to find on its own and an excellent addition to any U.S. WWII webbing or engineer equipment collection.
