Product Description

Original Inert WW2 German 9×19mm Parabellum Cartridge

An original inert German 9×19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger) cartridge manufactured in 1943 for the German armed forces.

The oxo manufacturer code identifies Teuto-Metallwerke GmbH, Osnabrück, a wartime German producer of cartridge cases and ammunition components. This particular headstamp (oxo St 6 43) has been documented as Lot 6 of 1943 production.

Headstamp Details

  • Manufacturer Code: oxo
  • Manufacturer: Teuto-Metallwerke GmbH
  • Factory Location: Osnabrück, Germany
  • Year: 1943
  • Case Material: St – Steel case
  • Lot Number: 6

The St marking denotes a steel cartridge case. By 1943, Germany had largely replaced brass cases with steel to conserve strategic copper supplies for the war effort.

These cartridges were issued for use in many standard German 9mm firearms, including:

  • Pistole 08 (Luger)
  • Walther P38
  • MP38
  • MP40

This is an excellent wartime collector's example with a desirable manufacturer code from one of Germany's specialist ammunition component manufacturers.
