This is an original British Army 1958 Pattern Webbing Poncho Roll in excellent condition. Designed to attach to the rear of the 1958 Pattern webbing set, this roll carried a soldier’s poncho, cape, or lightweight gear and completed the iconic British infantry loadout used from the late 1950s through the 1990s.
Made from tough, olive green water-resistant material, the poncho roll features reinforced stitched seams, sturdy canvas loops, and brass fastening clips compatible with the standard ’58 Pattern yoke system. The closure flap secures tightly with strong press studs, and the fabric is clean, with minimal signs of wear.
