Original British Welfare Foods Service National Dried Milk tin dating from the post-war welfare period.
This attractive lithographed steel tin once contained National Dried Milk, distributed through British Welfare Centres as part of the government's infant nutrition programme. The tin retains its original blue and white printed graphics, feeding instructions and welfare information, making it an excellent piece of British social history.
A fascinating reminder of Britain's post-war welfare system and rationing era, ideal for collectors of advertising tins, welfare memorabilia, kitchenalia, social history and post-war British artefacts.
Condition
Original vintage condition with age-related wear, surface rust to the lid and base, minor marks and scratches consistent with age and storage. Displays very well.
