Finished in olive drab military paint and clearly stencilled:

"SWEETENED MILK POWDER

A & B LTD."

This is a genuine period military food supply container used for the storage and distribution of sweetened milk powder for field and ration use. Unlike many surviving examples that have been emptied or opened, this example still retains its original contents, making it a scarce and highly collectable piece of military ration history.

The tin displays clear original markings, an attractive military finish and honest age-related wear consistent with long-term storage. A superb display item for collectors of British Army ration equipment, military catering items, field logistics and wartime memorabilia.
