Product Description
A superb original British Army Pocket Jack Knife, manufactured by Wraggs Ltd, Sheffield and clearly dated 1945. This genuine British military issue knife is an authentic Second World War example and remains in excellent collector's condition.
Pocket jack knives were an essential item of a British soldier's personal equipment during the Second World War, serving as a practical all-purpose tool for everyday field tasks. From cutting cordage and opening ration tins to equipment maintenance, these compact knives were relied upon by soldiers throughout the conflict.
This example was manufactured by Wraggs Ltd, one of Sheffield's renowned cutlery manufacturers, whose military knives are highly regarded by collectors for their quality and wartime production. The knife is clearly marked with the 1945 date, making it one of the final wartime production examples.
Retaining its original military finish, crisp maker's markings and excellent overall condition, this is an increasingly difficult knife to find, particularly in such well-preserved condition.
