Introduced as part of Britain's post-war military equipment programme, the Jungle Jack Knife became standard issue with British and Commonwealth forces serving in tropical and jungle environments. Designed for durability and everyday field use, it was an essential item carried by soldiers operating in demanding conditions throughout the Far East.
