Product Description

The Original British 1954-Dated Bandolier is a genuine military surplus item, offering collectors and historians a rare piece of post-World War II British military history. This canvas bandolier, dated 1954, was designed to hold and transport ammunition for the iconic .303 British rifles, such as the Lee-Enfield No.4 and Bren gun.

Inside the bandolier are 50 inert .303 rounds, each headstamped 1948, preserving their historical authenticity. These rounds are securely loaded into original World War II-era steel chargers, which were essential for rapid reloading in combat situations. The chargers remain in excellent condition, showcasing the robust design used by British and Commonwealth forces.

The bandolier itself is constructed from durable cotton webbing, featuring its original markings, stitching, and fastening system. These bandoliers were a crucial part of British infantry equipment, used well into the Cold War era.

This set is completely inert and safe for display, making it an ideal addition to any militaria collection, reenactment gear, or historical display. Whether you’re a collector of British military artifacts or a fan of classic firearms, this 1954-dated bandolier with 50 inert .303 rounds in WWII chargers is a must-have piece of history.
