Product Description

This is an original inert 20mm brass cartridge case dated 1952, bearing the RG headstamp, produced by the Radway Green Royal Ordnance Factory in Staffordshire, England. Radway Green continued to supply the British Armed Forces with high-quality munitions after the Second World War, including large-calibre cartridges for aircraft cannons and anti-aircraft weapons.

The 20mm calibre was commonly used in aircraft armaments, light anti-aircraft guns, and armoured vehicles during the early Cold War period. While complete rounds contained explosive or practice projectiles, this example is a brass cartridge case only, fully inert, making it completely safe for display, educational purposes, or inclusion in a militaria collection.

The RG headstamp and 1952 date mark this as a post-WWII British production piece, providing insight into the continued development and supply of ammunition during the early 1950s. The original brass finish and crisp markings make it a highly desirable collectible for enthusiasts of British ordnance, post-war ammunition, and large-calibre cartridge collections.

Ideal for display, reference collections, or military history exhibits, this 20mm cartridge case represents both the calibre used in post-war service and the ongoing industrial effort of Radway Green in supporting British defence requirements.
