Product Description

Original inert Imperial German 7.92×57 Patrone 88 style cartridge dating to the First World War period and dated 1917.

This example features the classic early round-nose military projectile associated with the original German Patrone 88 loading used before widespread adoption of later pointed spitzer ammunition.

The cartridge retains the distinctive Imperial German segmented headstamp style and represents transitional WW1-era German military ammunition produced during the latter stages of the war.

Early round-nose 7.92mm cartridges are considerably scarcer than standard later German military loads and are highly sought after by collectors of Imperial German and WW1 ammunition.

An excellent original display cartridge with strong historical appeal.
