Product Description

The INERT Mauser 7mm FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) round with a PMC headstamp is a deactivated ammunition specimen, designed for display, educational, or collector purposes. Originally developed for use in the iconic 7x57mm Mauser rifles, this round reflects the technological innovation of late 19th and early 20th-century military ammunition.

The bullet is a sleek, streamlined FMJ design, providing excellent ballistic performance in its active form. Made with a copper or copper-alloy jacket and a lead core, it was engineered for reliable penetration and accuracy. The inert version contains no propellant or primer, ensuring it is completely safe to handle. The brass cartridge case is meticulously preserved, showcasing the precision machining that characterized military-grade ammunition of its time.

The headstamp reads "PMC," identifying the manufacturer and hinting at its origin within the Precision Made Cartridges brand. This feature aids collectors in authenticating and dating the round. The 7mm Mauser cartridge was widely adopted by militaries around the world and remains a favorite among enthusiasts for its historical significance and versatility. As an inert specimen, this round serves as a tangible piece of firearms history, offering a glimpse into the evolution of ammunition design.
