Product Description

A genuine inert Kynoch .442 cartridge round, representing a classic piece of British ammunition history. Manufactured by the renowned Kynoch, this round would have originally been produced for use in late 19th to early 20th century British service revolvers, commonly associated with the iconic Webley revolver.

This example features an oiled primer, indicating careful preservation and helping to protect the base from corrosion over time. The brass casing shows honest age-related patina, giving it excellent character while still retaining clear definition on the headstamp.

The .442 calibre cartridge played an important role in British military and colonial service, making it a highly collectible calibre among ammunition enthusiasts. Kynoch rounds are particularly sought after due to their quality manufacture and historic significance.
