Product Description
This inert Kynoch .360 Nitro cartridge is an excellent example of early 20th-century British sporting ammunition, produced by the well-known manufacturer Kynoch, whose cartridges were widely used across the Empire. The .360 Nitro round was developed for lightweight, medium-calibre sporting rifles and was favoured for deer stalking, vermin control, and general field use. Its manageable recoil and dependable performance made it a popular choice for sportsmen of the period.
This particular round retains its original brass case, correctly seated projectile, and the clear KYNOCH .360 NITRO headstamp that collectors value so highly. Fully inerted for safe display, all powder has been removed and the primer rendered inactive, making it completely safe and legal to own in the UK. Despite being deactivated, the cartridge maintains its authentic appearance, proportions, and patina, offering a true representation of the ammunition used with classic British break-action and rook rifles.
Ideal for cartridge collections, ammunition display boards, historical exhibits, or as a companion piece to period sporting rifles, this inert .360 Nitro round provides a tangible connection to the craftsmanship and field traditions of early British shooting culture.
