Product Description

Original inert 6.5×53R Mannlicher sporting cartridge manufactured by the famous German ammunition company Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM). Featuring the classic DWM “K K 446” commercial headstamp, this cartridge represents the high-quality European sporting ammunition produced during the early 20th century for Mannlicher-pattern sporting and military rifles.

This example is fitted with an exposed lead soft-point style projectile, a highly desirable feature associated with hunting and sporting loads of the period rather than standard military ball ammunition. The cartridge retains a very attractive aged brass finish together with strong, crisp headstamp detail and excellent overall display appeal.

DWM cartridges are highly regarded among ammunition collectors due to their extensive export history, catalogue numbering system, and association with classic continental sporting rifles. An excellent addition to any inert ammunition, Mauser, Mannlicher, or vintage hunting collection.
