Product Description

Original inert .465 Holland & Holland cartridge, a powerful large-bore calibre developed by the prestigious London gunmaker Holland & Holland for use on dangerous game during the classic safari era.

This impressive cartridge represents the height of early 20th-century big-game hunting, where large-calibre rifles were relied upon for hunting species such as elephant, buffalo, and other dangerous African game. The .465 H&H is a less commonly encountered calibre, distinct from the more widely known Nitro Express variants, making it a standout piece for collectors.

With its substantial size and classic brass finish, this round makes an excellent display item, perfect for large calibre collections, safari-themed displays, or calibre comparison sets.

A striking and highly collectible cartridge that captures the heritage of British sporting ammunition and the golden age of safari hunting.
