Product Description
Original inert .401 Winchester Self Loading cartridge produced by Winchester Repeating Arms Company (WRA Co).
Introduced in 1910 for the Winchester Model 1910 Self-Loading Rifle, the .401 WSL became one of the most powerful and successful early semi-automatic sporting cartridges of its era. The calibre saw use in hunting, police service, prison security, and even limited wartime applications during the early 20th century.
This example features the classic WRA Co .401 S.L. headstamp and retains its distinctive period projectile profile, making it an excellent display piece for collectors of early self-loading rifle ammunition and Winchester cartridges.
A highly collectible and historically important early autoloading rifle round.
