Product Description

The INERT .380 Australian 1943 Dated Cartridge "MQ" SAAF No.4, Hendon is a non-functional, collectible replica of a .380 ACP cartridge produced during World War II. Manufactured in 1943 for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and marked with the "MQ" and SAAF No.4, Hendon identifiers, this inert round holds significant historical value for collectors, museums, and military enthusiasts.

This .380 ACP cartridge was part of the British and Commonwealth forces’ ammunition supply during the war and was commonly used in sidearms such as the Browning High-Power and Colt M1911 pistols. The "MQ" marking identifies it as a particular batch produced for Australian forces. The Hendon reference refers to the ammunition factory where it was made.

This inert version of the cartridge features an authentic brass casing and seated projectile but contains no gunpowder and has a deactivated primer, ensuring safety for handling. Variations may include drilled holes or color-coded primers to clearly indicate the inert status.

Perfect for collectors, firearm testing, and historical displays, the INERT .380 Australian 1943 Dated Cartridge "MQ" SAAF No.4, Hendon is a rare and valuable addition to any collection of WWII-era ammunition.
