Product Description

Original WW1-era inert .303 British cartridge with US 18 headstamp, indicating United States contract manufacture for British forces during the First World War.

Dated 1918, this round represents late-war transatlantic supply, when American industry played a crucial role in supporting British ammunition requirements. Large quantities of .303 ammunition were produced in the USA by major manufacturers such as Remington and Winchester, supplying frontline British and Commonwealth troops.

This example features the correct rimmed .303 case profile and period primer style, confirming its use in standard British service weapons including the Lee-Enfield rifle and Vickers machine gun.

US-marked .303 cartridges are highly collectible due to their unique origin and historical link between American production and British wartime supply chains.

✔ Dated 1918 (WW1 period)
✔ United States contract production
✔ Transatlantic supply history
✔ Correct .303 British form
✔ Fully inert – no live components
