Product Description

This inert .303 British rifle cartridge features the HXP headstamp, manufactured by the Greek Powder & Cartridge Co. (Pyrkal) based in Athens. Pyrkal has a long history in Greek ordnance manufacturing, and its HXP-marked .303 rounds became well-known in surplus markets for their high-quality brass, reliable boxer primers, and military-spec loadings.

The round has been professionally deactivated, containing no live primer or propellant, making it entirely safe to handle, display, or use in educational contexts. It retains the authentic brass case, correct .303 geometry, and clean HXP markings that clearly identify its Greek origin. Collectors favour HXP .303 for its strong manufacturing lineage and distinctive surplus provenance.

Ideal for display, ammunition reference collections, or as part of a wider .303 British assortment, this inert Greek HXP round offers a tangible connection to 20th-century arms production in Greece and adds a fascinating national variation to any mil-collector’s calibre board.
