Product Description

Original inert .303 British Mk VII cartridge with K 17 headstamp, manufactured in 1917 by Kynoch & Co., Birmingham, England during the First World War.

The K factory code represents Kynoch, one of Britain’s largest and most important wartime ammunition manufacturers. The 17 date places this cartridge in the middle years of WW1 when demand for .303 ammunition for the British Army was at its peak.

The Mk VII loading was the standard British .303 military service cartridge issued for the SMLE Lee-Enfield rifle and extensively used in Vickers and Lewis machine guns throughout the Great War.

1917 dated Kynoch rounds are highly collectible due to their direct WW1 military association and classic British military headstamp style.

A genuine inert Great War era cartridge ideal for Lee-Enfield, trench warfare and British militaria collections.
