Product Description

A striking example of 19th-century military ammunition engineering. This inert 11.43x50R cartridge was manufactured for the Egyptian Remington M1870 rifle, a landmark design that saw service across the Ottoman Empire and beyond. The .43 Egyptian represents a pivotal moment in firearms history—the transition from muzzle-loading muskets to breech-loading rifles. Collectors value these rounds for their historical significance and the insight they offer into colonial-era military procurement and standardization. This specimen is completely inert and safe to handle, display, and collect. Perfect for the serious militaria enthusiast seeking authentic period ammunition or those building a comprehensive cartridge reference collection.
