All orders are subject to a delivery, packing & handling charge. The correct charges will be automatically calculated via our Shopping basket ordering system and are based on the total weight of your order, your location, and our normal method of despatch. Please be aware that we reserve the right to alter any miscalculation, plus or minus, and you will be notified prior to shipping of any changes.
 When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Product Description
The British 1939-45 Star, the Defence Medal, and the various campaign stars are military decorations awarded to members of the British and Commonwealth armed forces for their service during World War II. Each medal and star had specific eligibility criteria and was awarded for different types of service.

1939-45 Star:
- Description: The 1939-45 Star is a six-pointed star featuring the Royal Cypher of King George VI in the center, surrounded by a circlet with the inscription "The 1939-1945 Star."
- Eligibility: Awarded for operational service between 3rd September 1939 and 2nd September 1945.

Defence Medal:
- Description: The Defence Medal is a circular medal with the effigy of King George VI on the obverse and a depiction of a lion and a unicorn flanking a crown on the reverse.
- Eligibility: Awarded for non-operational service in areas subject to air attack, or closely threatened, during the period from 3rd September 1939 to 8th May 1945.

Campaign Stars:
- There were several campaign stars awarded for specific theaters or campaigns during World War II. Some of the notable ones include:
- Africa Star: Awarded for service in North Africa between 10th June 1940 and 12th May 1943.
- Italy Star: Awarded for service in Italy, including Sicily, between 11th June 1943 and 8th May 1945.
- France and Germany Star: Awarded for operational service in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Germany between 6th June 1944 and 8th May 1945.
- Pacific Star: Awarded for operational service in the Pacific Theater between 8th December 1941 and 2nd September 1945.
