Product Description

1952 DatedĀ  All-steel bayonet (socket and blade forged separately),

Overall length 10.04in (255 mm). Socket form: configuration based on that for the No 4 series, the principal difference being the enlarged underside of the fore-end which merges with a heavy flat-sided shoulder.

The base of the blade is welded into the sector-shaped shoulder. Blade form: identical to that for the No 5 series - slim, single-edged with double-edged bowie style clip point, fullered. Back rounded, fuller stops squared.

Socket finish: painted black. Blade finish: bright steel except for the last 21 mm, near the shoulder, which, like the socket, is well-blacked. (Related item: scabbard)

the bayonet fits nicely into the scabbard and is easy to release.
