Product Description

An original post-Second World War British Army Jungle Green Shirt i unissued condition and dated 1966.

This shirt is made from cellular cotton which is often referred to as 'Aertex'. It is a lightweight, breathable fabric ideally suited to the tropics ad was popular with the British military during WW2 and the post-war period.

The shirt features a full button front, pleated chest pockets, epaulets, and long sleeves. Inside the shirt, the original label is still present and is bright and legible. It states the maker as 'N.C.S. Co. (Derry) Ltd.' and bears the 1966 date, the size of 13.5, and the War Department broad arrow marking.

The shirt is in fantastic condition and has clearly never been issued or worn. It displays very well and would certainly be hard to better although it may have small issues consummate with age or storage so please study the pictures.

All in all a stunning original example which would make a great addition to any collection!
