Product Description
Original early British .303 Cordite Ball Mark II cartridge, manufactured by the Kings Norton Metal Co., Birmingham.
Clearly headstamped KN C II, identifying Kings Norton manufacture, Cordite propellant and the Mark II Ball pattern.
The cartridge features the distinctive long, round-nosed jacketed projectile characteristic of early .303 British military ammunition, predating the later pointed Mk VII service cartridge.
An attractive early example with a particularly clear KN C II headstamp, good brass case and bright projectile. An excellent addition to a collection of early British .303 ammunition, Lee-Metford/Lee-Enfield related material or manufacturer headstamp variations.
