Product Description

Original Swedish Mauser Stripper Clips – Marked "070," "K," "H," and "A"

This set includes original Swedish Mauser stripper clips, each bearing distinct manufacturer markings: "070," "K," "H," and "A." These clips were produced for use with Swedish military Mauser rifles, including the M96, M38, and M94, and are designed to securely hold and feed 6.5Ă—55mm Swedish and 7.92Ă—57mm Mauser ammunition.

Each stripper clip is crafted from durable steel and features a spring-retention system to ensure smooth and reliable feeding of cartridges into the rifle’s internal magazine. The versatile design allows them to accommodate both 6.5×55 Swedish and 7.92×57 Mauser cartridges, making them an essential accessory for Swedish and German Mauser rifle enthusiasts.

Markings and Their Significance

  1. "070" – FFV Vanäsverken, Karlsborg

    • The "070" marking indicates production by Förenade Fabriksverken (FFV) Vanäsverken, a key Swedish state-owned defense contractor located in Karlsborg. FFV was responsible for manufacturing and refurbishing a wide range of military equipment, including stripper clips for the Swedish Army.
  2. "K" – Karlsborg Ammunitionsfabrik

    • The "K" marking is attributed to Statens Ammunitionsfabrik Karlsborg (State Ammunition Factory, Karlsborg). This factory was one of Sweden’s primary producers of ammunition-related components, ensuring a steady supply of clips for Swedish military use.
  3. "H" – Husqvarna Vapenfabrik AB

    • The "H" marking is believed to be associated with Husqvarna Vapenfabrik AB, one of Sweden’s most renowned arms manufacturers. Husqvarna played a significant role in the production of Mauser rifles, including the M38, and likely contributed to producing accessories such as stripper clips.
  4. "A" – Aktiebolaget Arctic, Motala

    • The "A" marking belongs to Aktiebolaget Arctic, a Swedish company based in Motala that was part of the Electrolux group. In July 1940, they received a contract from Statens Ammunitionsfabrik Karlsborg to produce up to 4.2 million stripper clips per month and refurbish used clips. Production continued until 1945, making these clips historically significant.

Collector’s and Historical Value

These Swedish stripper clips are highly collectible due to their wartime production history, quality craftsmanship, and ability to fit both Swedish and German Mauser rifles. They serve as excellent additions to militaria collections, reenactments, or historical firearm displays.
