Product Description

The 50 Cal cartridge cases stamped "FNB 22" refer to .50 caliber BMG (Browning Machine Gun) cartridge cases manufactured in 2022 by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FN Herstal), a prominent arms manufacturer in Belgium. The .50 BMG is a powerful, high-velocity round originally developed in the early 20th century for the Browning M2 heavy machine gun but is now widely used in various military, law enforcement, and civilian applications, particularly for long-range precision shooting, anti-material rifles, and heavy machine guns.

Each case features a headstamp marking of "FNB" (indicating FN Herstal) and "22," signifying the year of manufacture. Constructed from brass for durability and corrosion resistance, these cases are designed to withstand the high pressures generated by the .50 BMG round. The standard .50 BMG cartridge, known for its substantial stopping power, offers exceptional penetration and long-range effectiveness. Cases like these are often repurposed for reloading or collected as military memorabilia due to their historical and technical significance. FN Herstal's reputation for quality ensures that these cases meet stringent standards for performance and reliability, making them highly valued among enthusiasts, collectors, and professionals alike.
