Product Description

An original .450 calibre Kynoch inert brass cartridge, representing one of the classic British sporting and big game hunting calibres of the early 20th century.

Manufactured by the renowned British ammunition company Kynoch, this cartridge reflects the golden era of British sporting ammunition production. Kynoch became world famous for supplying high-quality cartridges for safari rifles, dangerous game hunting, and military contracts across the British Empire.

The .450 calibre family of cartridges became closely associated with large British sporting rifles used throughout Africa and India during the height of the safari and expedition era. Original Kynoch cartridges are increasingly sought after by collectors due to their strong connection to classic British gunmaking and vintage hunting history.

This example retains authentic age-related patina and excellent display appeal, making it an ideal addition to collections focused on British sporting ammunition, safari rifles, or vintage cartridge history.

Kynoch-marked cartridges remain highly collectible and display particularly well due to their iconic headstamps and association with famous British rifle makers.

A superb collector and display piece.
