Product Description
This is an exceptional set of British Army Binoculars, Prism No.2 Mk III x6, dated 1943 and manufactured by Taylor & Hobson, a renowned wartime optics producer. Issued during World War II, these binoculars were standard issue for infantry and artillery observation, prized for their clarity, robustness, and field reliability.
Featuring 6x magnification, the optics remain clear, with original lenses and smooth focus adjustment. The rugged metal body retains much of its wartime finish and is clearly marked with the "Taylor & Hobson Ltd" stamp and broad arrow military property mark.
This set includes the rare and desirable 1944 Pattern Jungle Binocular Case, specifically designed for tropical operations. Constructed from durable canvas with reinforced stitching and leather fittings, it offers excellent protection and adds to the historical value.
A fine example of British WW2 field optics, ideal for military collectors, reenactors, or museum displays. Its combination of functionality, wartime markings, and original jungle-pattern case makes it a standout piece.
