Product Description

Original German WW2 7.92×57 Mauser inert rifle cartridge dated 1940.

This authentic German military round is headstamped “P94 S* 17 40”, identifying production by Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbritzen G.m.b.H., Germany, during the Second World War.

The cartridge retains excellent original military appearance with attractive aged finish, copper-jacketed spitzer projectile, and original green primer sealant still clearly visible.

The S* case marking denotes the improved German brass case specification widely used during wartime production for Wehrmacht small arms ammunition.

An excellent collectible example for enthusiasts of:

  • German WW2 militaria
  • Wehrmacht equipment
  • K98k rifles
  • original Mauser ammunition
  • military cartridge collecting

A highly displayable and historically interesting wartime German round.

All inert ammunition is sold strictly for display and collecting purposes only.
