Product Description

Original German 7.92×57 Mauser inert rifle cartridge manufactured in 1940 for the Wehrmacht during the early years of the Second World War.

The headstamp “P154 S* 8 40” identifies production by Polte Armaturen- und Maschinenfabrik A.G., Magdeburg, one of Germany’s major wartime ammunition manufacturers.

This authentic WW2 cartridge retains:

  • original brass wartime finish
  • copper-jacketed spitzer projectile
  • visible green primer annulus
  • strong untouched collector patina

A desirable early-war Wehrmacht example ideal for:

  • K98k displays
  • German WW2 collections
  • Mauser cartridge collections
  • militaria displays
  • ammunition headstamp collectors

An original period German military cartridge from the Blitzkrieg era.

All inert ammunition is sold strictly for display and collecting purposes only.
