Product Description

The 1927 Silver Jubilee Crown features a left-facing portrait of King George V on the obverse side, wearing a crown and surrounded by the inscription "GEORGIVS V D.G. BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP:" which translates to "George V, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains and Emperor of India." The reverse side displays a crowned shield with the arms of the United Kingdom and its constituent countries, surrounded by a wreath and the inscription "CROWN·1927·JUBILEE·CROWN."

The 1935 Silver Jubilee Crown, also known as the "Rocking Horse Crown," features a right-facing portrait of King George V on the obverse side, similar to the 1927 Silver Jubilee Crown. The reverse side depicts a crowned shield with a coat of arms, flanked by two horses in motion. The inscription "CROWN·1935·JUBILEE·CROWN" surrounds the central design.

Both of these silver crowns have a diameter of 38.6 millimeters and a weight of approximately 28.28 grams. They are made of 0.500 fine silver and have a milled edge.
