Product Description

16 inert 9mm Luger rounds, contained in a handmade reproduction box styled after a 1942 Pistolenpatronen 08m E box. These inert rounds replicate the 9mm Parabellum ammunition, commonly known as 9mm Luger, which was originally designed by Georg Luger in 1901. This caliber became the standard for many pistols, including the German Luger P08 and later the Walther P38, both widely used by the German military during World War II.

The 9mm Luger cartridge, known for its balance between power and recoil control, became a staple in military and law enforcement across the world, and it remains one of the most popular pistol calibers to this day. During WWII, the 9mm Parabellum was the standard issue for German sidearms, especially for soldiers carrying the P08 or P38 pistols. The box itself is a reproduction of the German military packaging used during this era, labeled "Pistolenpatronen 08m E 1942," indicating that it would have been produced in 1942 for use with these pistols.

This reproduction box has been carefully crafted to replicate the look and feel of an original wartime ammunition container. The inert rounds it holds are non-functional and lack any explosive or ballistic capabilities, making them safe for display or educational purposes. Collectors and reenactors often seek out such reproductions as they offer an authentic-looking addition to WWII memorabilia collections, capturing the historical significance of the iconic 9mm round and its role in 20th-century warfare

( All round are fitted with an inert primer and BB )
