Product Description

The INERT U.M.C. .30-30 round is a unique and valuable collectible, representing a significant chapter in the history of American ammunition. Manufactured by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company (U.M.C.), one of the oldest and most reputable ammunition manufacturers in the United States, this .30-30 round exemplifies the quality and craftsmanship for which the company was known.

The .30-30 Winchester, introduced in 1895, was one of the first modern, small-bore, smokeless powder cartridges. It became immensely popular for hunting, especially in lever-action rifles like the Winchester Model 94. Known for its versatility and effectiveness on medium-sized game, the .30-30 remains one of the most beloved hunting rounds to this day.

This specific round, marked with the distinctive U.M.C. headstamp, is fully deactivated and contains no live primer, powder, or propellant, ensuring it is safe to handle, display, and collect. The brass casing, with its crisp markings, provides authenticity and showcases the high manufacturing standards of U.M.C.

As a piece of historical ammunition, the INERT U.M.C. .30-30 round is ideal for collectors, firearm historians, or anyone interested in the development of American hunting cartridges. This deactivated round offers a fascinating glimpse into the past and serves as a tangible connection to the rich tradition of American rifle ammunition.
