All orders are subject to a delivery, packing & handling charge.  When  shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

This authentic WWI British Verner’s Patent Marching Compass, with Leather Case Jabez Cliff & Son 1918. Issued during  World War I, this compass is a remarkable example of British military field gear.

Crafted from durable brass with a blackened military finish, the compass features the classic Verner’s Patent design—complete with a flip-up sighting vane, prismatic lens, and floating dial. The dial, likely mother-of-pearl, is still legible and rotates smoothly, with a working transit lock to secure it during movement. The compass retains its original engraved markings: “Verner’s Patent,

This piece is in excellent condition, with only light wear consistent with age and use. When available, it includes a leather case or belt pouch, adding to its historical value and collectibility.
